Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated today (21st June, 2022) at Sasya Shyamala KVK, RKMVERI through organizing Campaign on International Yoga Day, Balanced Use of Fertilizers and Region Specific Agroforestry.

A training programme on “Small Scale Meat Product Processing and Value Addition” sponsored by ICAR-NRC on MEAT was held during 6-7 June, 2022 at Sasya Shyamala Krishi Vigyan Kendra, RKMVERI under Development Action Plan for Scheduled Castes (DAPSC). A walk-in interview will be conducted to recruit one purely contractual vacancy of ‘Facilitator’ for facilitating 1-year Course for ‘Diploma in Agricultural Extension Services for the Input dealers (DAESI)’ at Sasya Shyamala Krishi Vigyan Kendra with monthly gross remuneration of Rs.17,000/- (Rs.Seventeen thousand only per month).

In the series of events under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, an awareness-cum-Training programme on “Scientific Coconut Cultivation Technologies” was organized on 29th April, 2022 under किसान भागीदारी – प्राथमिकता हमारी अभियान of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India.

In the series of events u  nder “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Farmers’ Fair under किसान भागीदारी प्राथमिकता हमारी अभियान was organized on 26th April, 2022 with following activities – 1. Farmer-Scientist Interaction on “Bharatiya Prakritik Krishi Paddhati” 2. Technical discussion on Oilseeds and Bio-fortified crops.

Organised outreach program on Natural Farming for sustainable agriculture sponsored by ICAR ATARI, Kolkata for the district of South 24 pgs, on 28th March 2022.

A two days’ training programme (26-27 March) on Fisheries Technologies for increasing fish productivity for 100 fish farmers of Sonarpur Block of South 24 Parganas belonging to scheduled caste community under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) organised by ICAR-CIFE in collaboration with Sasya Shyamala KVK and IRDM F/c, RKMVERI
