nder “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Farmers’ Fair under किसान भागीदारी प्राथमिकता हमारी अभियान was organized on 26th April, 2022 with following activities –
1. Farmer-Scientist Interaction on “Bharatiya Prakritik Krishi Paddhati”
2. Technical discussion on Oilseeds and Bio-fortified crops.
The programme was virtually inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar Ji.
On this occasion Sasya Shyamala Krishi Vigyan Kendra, RKMVERI organized a Krishi Mela with stalls on different technologies including Agriculture, Horticulture, Seed Production, Plant Protection, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Implements, Mushroom cultivation etc.
Total three hundred and ten farmers participated both physically and virtually. The Krishi Mela was inaugurated by Mrs. Chandana Ghosh, Elected Member of Budgebudge II Panchayat Samity in presence of Dr. N.C. Sahu, Head, SSKVK, Dr. Siladitya Bandopadhyay, Sr. Scientist, ICAR-NBSS&LUP Kolkata Regional Centre, Mr. Jhintu Das, Jt. Director, Directorate of Jute Development, Mr. Dipu Shikari, ADA Sonarpur, Dr. S. N. Das, Sr. Lecturer, WB- SAMETI and all the staff members of the KVK.
