One-day Action Plan Workshop on Natural Farming for West Bengal KVKs organized by ICAR-ATARI Kolkata at Sasya Shyamala Krishi Vigyan Kendra, RKMVERI on 29th November, 2022. Senior Scientist and Head and Nodal SMSs for implementing the Project on ‘Outscaling of Natural Farming through KVKs’ of 16 KVKs of Wesr Bengal [Sasya Shyamala, Nimpith, North 24 Parganas (WBUAFS and Additional), Howrah, Hooghly, Bankura, Purulia, Jhargram, Murshidabad (WBUAFSand Sargachhi), Malda (UBKV), Uttar and Dakshin Dinajpur, Kalimpong, Coochbehar] out of 23 KVKs of West Bengal participated in the Workshop and presented their Action Plan. All the participants visited the KVK demonstration units including that of Natural Farming. Swami Shivapurnanandaji Maharaj, Assistant Administrative Head, IRDM Faculty Centre and Vice Chairman, SSKVK, RKMVERI, Dr. A. K. Singh, Ex-Director of ICAR-ATARI Kolkata and Ex-Vice Chancellor of BAU, Sabour, Dr. S. K. Roy, Director, ICAR-ATARI Kolkata, Dr. F. H. Rahman, Principal Scientist, ICAR-ATARI Kolkata, Dr. Nilendu Jyoti Maitra, Dy Director of Research, Extension and Farms, WBUAFS attended the programme.
