National Startup Day was celebrated by Sasya Shyamala KVK, RKMVERI on 16th January, 2024 in collaboration with ATMA, South 24 Parganas. A Farmers-Scientists Interaction programme was organized on this eve where Scientists and Experts explained the importance of National Startup Day, meaning of Startup and the scope of application of different technologies in the field of agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery for initiating Startups. Dr. Pradip Dey, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Kolkata delivered lecture online and inspired the participants for developing Startups. Mr. Sudip Ganguli, Project Director, ATMA, South 24 Parganas, Mr. Dipu Shikari, Asstt. Director of Agriculture, Sonarpur Block, Dr. Ram Babu Raman, SMS (Pl. Breed. and Seed Sc.), Dr. Krishnendu Ray, SMS (Agronomy), Dr. Narayan Chandra Sahu, Head, SSKVK, RKMVERI, Dr. Krishna Prasad Mukherjee, BLDO, Sonarpur Block, Dr. Swagat Ghosh, SMS (Fisheries),RKMVERI attended the programme. Total 25 no.s of farmers, farm women and rural youths participated in the programme.
