Students (27 girls and 14 boys) of 3rd year B. Sc.(Ag.) Hons. of Integrated Rural and Tribal Development and Management (IRTDM) Faculty Centre of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), Ranchi visited Sasya Shyamala KVK (29th December, 2023) as a part of their 12 days’ exposure visit programme

A three days’ Entrepreneurship development training programme on “Hygienic and Value added Meat Products” with the fund support from ICAR-NRC on Meat, Hyderabad was organized by Sasya Shyamala Krishi Vigyan Kendra, RKMVERI during 26-28 December, 2023.

World Fisheries Day (WFD) is celebrated every year on 21st November by fishing communities across the globe. This was started in 1997 when the World Forum on Fish Harvesters and Fisheries Workers met in New Delhi and the World Fisheries Forum was established with representatives from 18 countries.

“Vivekananda Krishi Mitra Prakalpa” is now being implemented by Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI) on the eve of 125th Anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission. Under this project Agricultural Technology Awareness Programme (ATAP) was organized on 14 October, 2023 by ‘Sasya Shyamala’ Krishi Vigyan Kendra (SSKVK) in collaboration with Ramakrishna Ashrama at Paruldaha, Baruipur.

Sonarpur at Ashram Bari, Sonarpur with farmers and mohila krishok of different villages of Sonarpur blocks.
