Applications are invited in prescribed format attached with this advertisement from eligible candidates, within 15 days from the date of advertisement, for engagement in purely temporary vacancies under different projects of Seed Hub sponsored by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Cluster Frontline Demonstration (CFLD) on Oilseeds & Pulses running in the ‘Sasya Shyamala’ Krishi Vigyan Kendra, RKMVERI, Arapanch, P.O.-Sonarpur, Dist.-South 24 Pgns, Kolkata-700150. The vacancies are co-terminus with the completion of the project or will depend on performance and behaviour of the incumbents as decided by the authority or any other criteria deemed to be fit and declared by the authority.
The job will require extensive field visit to the remote areas of South 24 Parganas district including Sundarban areas laborious field work in the instructional farm of the KVK. Incumbent engaged for a specified work may require to other works also as per instruction of the Head of the KVK.

| Essential qualification (Minimum): | Graduation in science stream. Preference will be given to the candidates with practical experience in agriculture, handling of seed processing plant and knowledge in computer application. |
| Job Description: | Extensive visit to demonstration and seed production fields, collection of seeds and soil samples from the farmers, data collection, record keeping, interaction with the farmers, handling of seed processing plant for cleaning and grading of seed, plant protection measures during storage of seeds in godown etc. |
| Age: | Maximum 35 years. |
| Duration of Engagement: | Initially for one year which may be extended depending on the project duration. |
| Consolidated Honorarium: | Rs. 10,000/- per month. |
