Agricultural Technology Awareness Programme (ATAP) under Vivekananda Krishi Mitra Prakalpa in commemoration of the 125th Anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission was organized by Sasya Shyamala KVK, RKMVERI at Patharpratima Dakshin Shibgunj Lokasiksha and Rural Development Society, Patharpratima Block, a youth organization under Sunderban Sebangan Cluster, South 24 Parganas affiliated to RKMission Ashrama Lokasiksha Parishad, Narendrapur. More than 80 farmers, farm women and rural youths participated in the programme. Dr. Ram Babu Raman, SMS (Pl Breeding and Seed Sc.), Mr. Jayanta Roy, DAESI Facilitator and Dr. N. C. Sahu, Head, Sasya Shyamala KVK, RKMVERI attended the programme. Technologies for maintaining and improving soil health, horticulture, crop production, seed production, fisheries and animal husbandry for livelihood development of farmers and the courses and facilities of RKMVERI were discussed by the experts. A documentary on 125th Anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission was projected. Thanks to Mr. Chinmoy Maity, Secretary of the Youth Organization for mobilizing the farmers and helping in successfully organizing the programme.
