A one-day Seminar-cum Awareness Programme on “Zootic Diseases – Dos and Don’ts” was organized on the World Zoonoses Day. Dr. Pradip Dey, Director ICAR-ATARI Kolkata was present as the Chief Guest. Prof. Tapas Dasgupta, Dean, IRDM F/c, Prof. Abhijit Chakrabarti, RKMVERI, Dr. Shraboni Gupta, Medical Officer, Sonarpur BPHC and Dr. K. P. Mukherjee, BLDO Sonarpur were present in the programme. Dr. Indranil Samanta, Associate Professor, WBUAFS, Dr. Debasish Nandy, VO, BAHC, Sonarpur, Dr. Rabiul Khan, VO, Sonarpur MVU and Dr. Samiran Bandopadhyay, Principal Scientist, ICAR-IVRI ERS deliberated on different aspects of Zoonotic diseases. At last one panel discussion was held where all the experts answered questions from the participants.
