Organised outreach program on Natural Farming for sustainable agriculture sponsored by ICAR ATARI, Kolkata for the district of South 24 pgs, on 28th March 2022. The program was inaugurated by Dr. NC sahu, Sr. Scientist and Head in presence of the SMSs and other staffs of the KVK. Dr. Sahu gave his introductory note on the program at his welcome speech. In the technical session Dr. Abhijit Ghosal, SMS (Pl. Protection) and Co-ordinator of the program discussed in detail about the “Concepts of natural farming and inputs”. Discussion on Natural Farming practices in Cultivation of Agronomic Crops was discussed by Dr. K Ray, SMS (Agronomy) and Importance of soil testing in Natural Farming was discussed by Dr. M. Saha, Prog. Asst (Lab Tech). Formal Vote of Thanks was given by Dr. R. B. Raman, SMS ( Plant Breeding ).
The program was coordinated Dr. Abhijit Ghosal, SMS ( Pl. Protection). The whole program was Compered by Dr. A. Mukherjee, Farm Manager of SSKVK. 42 farmers were participated in the program.
